This bracelet was used to identify me as 21+

This was our first show, it was amazing. However, it almost didn't happen - as I was doing sound check, I was told that the show was being abruptly stopped due to underage drinking. We were able to play after all under 21 were kicked out. It was our crowd that was left anyway.

This marker stain identified me as someone who could go in and out of the bar.

Our second show was fun. A lot of friends showed up (40+ people, compared to around 10 for other bands). No monitor provided a challenge, but things went real smooth. Good impressions and an after party at my apartment. Did we get ripped off on getting paid tho?

There were no marks, I guess everyone just remembered me as one of the performers.

This was our third show. The band before us had between 0-3 people there to see them. The band after us didn't show up. We brought in more or less 30. Good times, although I have no idea why the sound guy/manager Joe put reverb and delay on my voice.

Feb 16, 2006, The Middle East Upstairs, Emergenza Battle of the Bands, Cambridge, MA, USA

A bracelet. Second one was from a bar next door, I went in to say hi to Ben Yates.

Amazing show. Solid first place winners with 82 votes (the second place had 44), yet as of now, disqualified and banned for life from playing at the Middle East - because my stepping off the stage during our instrumental Oryx was considered "stage diving".

The rubbed off ink mark on my right hand (used to say "PA") was my mark of admittance.

My face in the image sort of represents my feelings about the night. The show was pretty sloppy. I guess those things have to happen once in a while.

:)

March 24, 2006, Milky Way, Jamaica Plain, MA, USA

This show, as well as the next two, didn't require me to present any identification marks to anyone. I guess people just remembered me.

The show at the Milky Way was real nice. It was the first time I tried doing live video as well as singing. Maxx Haze - the promoter - took care of us pretty nicely. And we had a good turnout at a great venue. Good night.

No identification marks - smaller venue. Plus they knew me already.

We played this show the day after our show at the Milky Way, - so we decided not to promote it much at all. Most of the faces were unfamiliar. This time the sound mix on vocals was real sweet. I think I gave my best performance up to date. I performed live video at Mantra right after our set.

April 8, 2006, Reflections Lounge, Chelmsford, MA, USA

No identification marks. People just remembered me I suppose.

The venue was alright. It was far from everyone however and the turnout was pretty low, I must say for every band. After the show I found out the it was being judged - the winners get to play in a festival in the fall. Somehow every band who played got into the festival. We are up in the air about playing. Props to other bands - rock on.

Very rubbed off blue and red stamp on my hand seen at the top of the image.

The show was dedicated to our very happy number 2 fan - Duece. One of our best shows so far.
